Ebola: Polio Experts Represent

A polio surveillance duo from India has been adapting their expertise to the Ebola response in Liberia and Sierra Leone.

Deepak Kumar and Aarti Singh are helping to strengthen data gathering practices and create a cohesive picture of what’s happening on the ground. The goal: keep national plans well informed.

By collaborating with health workers on the ground to health ministry officials, they are trying to build capacity and boost resilience—a legacy worth the legwork.
