Malpractice: Love, Loss and Lawsuits

Since losing his beloved wife in 1998, Dr. Kunal Saha has fought to stop the ignorance and corruption that lead to pervasive medical malpractice in India.

Reluctance to blow the whistle on shoddy doctors are explored in a recent British Medical Journal article, which describes fears of harassment, career damage and disciplinary action against the doctor bringing the complaint.

India's Whistle Blowers Protection Act becoming law in 2014 shows progress in changing attitudes, and many cases are making their way through the courts with help from Saha’s org, People for Better Treatment.
