Here’s a twist on breakfast and lunch: Vodka on eggs, and rum on a sandwich. Those are just two of the scary ways to use palcohol, according to its makers. Another is to simply snort it to get drunk “almost instantly.”
A powder that creates an alcoholic drink when mixed with water or other liquid, powdered alcohol could be available for sale in Arizona as early as this summer, warns Candice Koenker, program manager, Coconino County Public Health Services District, Tobacco and Chronic Disease Prevention. She asks that the community, parents and teachers be vigilant and educate others, especially youth, about the possible dangers of this product.
“Unfortunately, the product is so new that virtually no research has been conducted on the health effects,” she writes.
