Sepsis: A Neglected Global Killer

Nearly 30 million people a year are afflicted with sepsis, leaving millions dead or disabled. Still, it receives little attention. This CUGH webinar aims to change that, by convening experts to discuss the scope of the problem and what can be done to prevent treat the syndrome, and outline the international advocacy efforts underway by the Global Sepsis Alliance and others.

Speakers include Niranjan "Tex" Kissoon, MD, vice president of the Global Sepsis Alliance/World Sepsis Day and Ron Daniels, MD, CEO-UK Sepsis Trust. The moderator is Keith Martin MD, executive director, Consortium of Universities for Global Health.
