Celebrity Sighting

Actor Matt Damon and Gary White, founders of Water.org, appeared at the World Bank’s spring meetings last week in Washington, DC, to advocate for the hundreds of millions of people who lack access to clean water.
In an interview with NPR’s Morning Edition, the two men discussed the history of their organization and how they’ve had to reach beyond traditional philanthropy to raise money for their cause. They also touch on the importance of providing US dollars to tackle water scarcity in all corners of the earth.
