Boogie Bird

If you’ve never seen a research citation set to the music of Cyndi Lauper, here’s your chance.
A decade ago, Snowball the cockatoo’s dance moves delighted fans worldwide. This week, researchers from San Diego and elsewhere reported in Current Biology that Snowball picked up 14 new moves, according to Science.
They also found that in busting a move requires fairly specific traits including attentiveness, a draw to social bonding and vocal learning.
Notably, having rhythm is not one of them. (There's hope for GHN editor Brian Simpson!)
But Snowball isn’t just about dancing. According to this (unverified) Twitter account, the avian celeb is a fan of The Voice and flies the flag for Bernie Sanders.
