Hidden Horrors in Clint, Texas

The Clint, Texas facility that has become the focal point of the US migration crisis seemed unremarkable to local residents. Yet inside, horrifying conditions numbed border agents.

As one put it: “It gets to a point where you start to become a robot.”
Through dozens of interviews, reporters visualized the dangerously overcrowded facility. Witnesses say teenage detainees were asked to change the diapers 5-month-old babies. In overcrowded cells, beds were removed to make room for more children.
All this in a facility designed to hold no more than 100 adult men for just a few hours.
