Vape Users Hospitalized in Several States

The CDC is investigating a cluster of hospitalizations in several states that have just one thing in common: vaping. Over 120 cases of lung disease may be linked to the devices, CNN reports.
From once-healthy teenagers to 50-somethings, patients have presented with severe breathing difficulty, coughing and weight loss. The agency is investigating whether the illnesses are linked to contaminated vaping products, according to NPR Shots

18-year-old Dylan Nelson said he’d been vaping discolored THC oil “from a cartridge he bought for cheap from a friend” before being hospitalized and put into a medically induced coma. He’s one of 15 patients hospitalized in Wisconsin with severe lung injury since July. 6 similar cases have appeared in Illinois; 4 in Minnesota.
