Survey Says?

Finding answers to the baffling vaping illness that’s so far killed 37 and injured 2,000 may require asking better questions.

Social change can spur disease outbreaks, says Harvard researcher Yulin Hswen. With people now vaping 20-30 times a day using “everything from Coca-Cola to herbal oils,” more information about what and how people are vaping is needed.

To help pinpoint potential causes of the mysterious illness, Hswen has developed YouVape, an online survey targeted to vapers searching for related keywords.

On YouVape, people can check their symptoms and log information about their vaping habits which may provide clues for researchers.
