Empty Nesting is Extra Hard This Year

Sending his twin daughters off to college, John Paczkowski describes a pretty universal 2020 experience: the haunting fear of a loved one getting sick.

“Do I feel better knowing that my kids will be quarantined for weeks before classes begin? That students and faculty will be tested more often? Yes, of course. But also, my god, NO. Not at all.”
