Outbreak: Rift Valley Fever in Sudan

Rift Valley Fever has killed dozens of people in northern Sudan and infected thousands more, local doctors have told The Guardian.

The government denied on October 10 there is an outbreak among humans, though the country’s former health minister declared one among animals earlier this year. The disease can affect humans and animals.
