Block and Kill: Making Homes Inhospitable to Mozzies

Turning homes into “lethal lures” for mosquitoes has led to significantly reduced malaria among children in Côte d’Ivoire.
 
Physical Barrier and Insecticides: Window screens and PVC tubes fitted with insecticide-laced screens installed under the eaves of a house brought down malaria incidence 40-50% compared to houses with no modifications.
