Put a Fork in It

Researchers and journalists have spent months trying to explain how mRNA COVID-19 vaccines work.
Maybe it’s time we give actors a chance…
After all, actor-filmmaker Vick Krishna seems to have found the secret sauce, NPR Goats and Soda reports.
Step 1: Put a fork in it.

More specifically: “a monster with spiky fork hands, people disappearing into thin air, a concerned scientist,” etc.
Achieving a rare blend of accuracy and intrigue, his viral TikTok reimagines mRNA vaccines as a “good versus evil thriller” that hooks the viewer with suspense—to the tune of 6 million+ TikTok views.

And like any great movie, it can shift the viewer’s perspective.
As one rave reviewer put it in Fast Company: “I immediately sent the video to everyone in my life who had displayed even the slightest tone of skepticism in regard to the COVID-19 vaccine.”
We smell Oscar buzz!
