No GHN Tomorrow, Friday, June 18

We won’t be publishing GHN tomorrow because Johns Hopkins University is closed in observance of the Juneteenth holiday this weekend. The US Congress just voted to make June 19 an official holiday “to commemorate the end of chattel slavery, America's original sin, and to bring about celebration,” as Representative Sheila Jackson Lee said introducing the legislation.

We’ll be back Monday with more news!—Brian, Dayna, and Annalies
