Third Wave Rising?

COVID-19 cases are trending upward in 14 African countries and have shot up by more than 30% in 8 countries—as the continent awaits vaccine shipments.
Prospects of a lethal third wave across Africa that could mimic India’s devastating surge are worrying health officials as are the paucity of vaccines:
Nearly 5 million cases and 130,000 deaths have been registered in Africa, though most believe that is vast underestimate.
Just 50 million doses have been delivered to Africa, which has a population of 1.2 billion.
