A Bungled Attempt to Influence Influencers

A marketing agency called Fazze tried to recruit social media stars to parrot misinformation to their millions of subscribers—instead the YouTubers blew up their spot.

As part of the offer, a German and a French YouTuber were asked to promote “leaked” intel suggesting COVID-19 vaccines are deadly.

Appalled by being offered money to spread lies, they pretended to be interested to get inside the scheme. They were instructed to share junk articles and not to mention a sponsor, which is illegal in France and Germany.

Then they lifted the lid. But some influencers offered the same deal and took the bait.
