Safety Goggles

Safety Goggles

Eye injuries are more common in the workplace than one might think, especially in U.S. manufacturing plants. Roughly 2,000 workplace eye injuries occur every day, with about 70 percent of these accidents resulting from flying or falling objects. Properly wearing safety goggles could mitigate or prevent 90 percent of these injuries. Safety goggles also protect health-care workers, dentists, laboratory staff, janitorial workers and animal handlers at risk of acquiring infectious diseases through ocular exposure.
